After long delays, Denny’s will be soon be opening its first Nova Scotia location. The sign for the restaurant has just gone up Wilkinson Avenue across from Dartmouth Crossing.
The iconic chain will be opening in the Sandman Signature Dartmouth Hotel which is currently finishing construction.
Job opportunities have been posted for Denny’s including positions for hosts, servers and cooks. The opportunity to apply as manager closes Thursday, March 16th, which hints it may be opening soon.

Denny’s is popular for their breakfast meals and offers a full menu for every meal of the day. The restaurant had originally been slated to open in Dartmouth in October 2022.
Also opening at the Sandman Signature Dartmouth Hotel will be the western Canadian chain Bar One. This will be the first location for the popular bar east of Alberta.
