This Nova Scotia Small Town Has A New Rooftop Patio Where The Drinks Are Cold And The Views Are Gold

There’s a new rooftop patio you will want to check out in the picturesque university town of Antigonish, NS.

Spindrift Oak Manor opened their Main Street taproom one year ago and this summer opened the stairs to their new rooftop patio.

Oak Manor was originally a high quality menswear store in the town and existed since 1963. As today’s name on the building suggests, Spindrift is keeping history alive by incorporating the building’s original name.

When you climb the stairs to the rooftop patio there are picnic tables along with a full bar serving Spindrifts popular beers on tap including their own X-Port Ale (guess what it’s named after). Many evenings there is live entertainment on the roof too.

Other beers include the popular Killick Session Lager, Toller and Toller Lite, Hurricane IPA and more.

Spindrift Oak Manor does not serve food but welcome guests to support other local businesses and order takeout or delivery to the tap room or rooftop patio.

The tap room and patio are located at 271 Main Street in Antigonish across from City Hall.
