It Would Appear Steak & Stein Is Done And Has Closed Their Halifax And Dartmouth Locations

All indicators are saying local restaurant Steak & Stein has wrapped up business and their locations on Young Steet in Halifax and Portland Street in Dartmouth have been closed.

The location on Young Street had been scheduled to close this May when the lease expired. According to one couple who posted on Steak and Stein’s Facebook Page, they reportedly visited last evening and the restaurant was short on many items. When paying their bill, they were told that it was the last evening for business.

Another Facebook user said she was an employee at the Dartmouth location and this morning they were reportedly told in a staff meeting that both locations were closed.

The restaurant’s Dartmouth location had been temporarily closed by government health inspectors during the past 12 months. Inspection reports noted dead rodents in the kitchen and storage rooms.
