Halifax Burger Week Postponed Indefinitely

One of Halifax’s favourite and most tasty events has been postponed indefinitely. Halifax Burger Week had originally been scheduled for the last week of March but was postponed until June.

The Coast organizes Burger Week and made the announcement official on Burger Week’s website. Although disappointed, with the current pandemic situation in Nova Scotia, we totally understand their reasoning.

This is a perfect reminder that many restaurants are still open for takeout. We made a couple of suggestion for takeout this past long weekend. Many of these restaurants have awesome burgers available.

When the pandemic has ended and the pubs and restaurants open again, Burger Week would be the perfect event to get people back supporting local on the masses.

We were most looking forward to trying the Boss Hog Burger from Parkside Pub & Smokehouse in Dartmouth. Many bars and restaurants like this depend on Burger Week to get people into their locations after a slow spring.

Burger Week, we shall meat again.
