The Snowbirds And CF-18 Demo Team Will Return To Nova Scotia In 2022 For Air Show Atlantic

The COVID-19 pandemic led to the postponements of Air Show Atlantic’s 2020 and 2021 events. The Show has since announced its return in 2022 at the airport in Debert, Nova Scotia. The event will be held this summer on August 27 and 28.

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the CF-18 Demo Team will headline the show which marks the return of air shows in Atlantic Canada for the first time since August 2019.

Fans will have the option of a traditional festival style air show as well as a drive-in option in which they will drive directly to their own designated, socially distant viewing area. They can then get out of their vehicle and enjoy the show.

“We are grateful for the support shown to us by the Royal Canadian Air Force in ensuring that two of Canada’s most iconic air show performers would be in Atlantic Canada performing for fans in 2022.” said Air Show Atlantic Executive Director, Colin Stephenson.

“We made a commitment to produce a show in Debert back in late 2019 and we are pleased to share that we will honour that commitment to the communities of Colchester County, Nova Scotia and Atlantic Canada at large.”

Air Show Atlantic says they are excited about the return of events like this to Atlantic Canada and they are committed to producing a safe and exciting show for fans.
