The Red Arrows, Britain’s Air Force aerobatic team, will be preforming a free airshow over Halifax Harbour on Sunday, August 11th at 2pm. This will be a celebration of Britain and Canada’s long standing defense partnership.
There will also be fly pasts by Canadian military aircraft including CH146 Griffon, CH148 Cyclone and CH149 Cormorant helicopters. Canadian fixed wing aircraft taking part include the CC130H Hercules and a CP140 Aurora. From the Royal Air Force, a A400M will pass along the waterfront. There will be speakers set up along the Halifax waterfront and Ferry Terminal Park in Dartmouth. The event will also air over 105.9 Seaside FM.
