Small of My Heart is a songwriters circle tour you can’t miss. Spotlighting award-winning women and non-binary artists in the Canadian music industry, the tour will be making it’s way through Nova Scotia during February and May 2024. The series features artists like Heather Rankin, Catherine MacLellan, Erin Costelo, Lisa MacIsaac, Irish Mythen, Kristen Martell and Kellie Loder. The idea behind the initiative is Banshee Events Co. which is led by JUNO-nominated Nova Scotia-born musician Lisa MacIsaac and Nova Scotia music enthusiast, Jamie Whitty.
The series plans to offer an intimate ‘in-the-round’ experience, where artists will share their journeys, stories, and songs, creating a unique and memorable event for attendees. Each performance is designed to feel like a living room gathering, fostering a close connection between the artists and the audience. With stops across notable Nova Scotia venues, the series is a testament to resilience, talent, and diversity.
The Small of My Heart series is not just a celebration of music but a step forward in creating a more inclusive and equitable music industry.
Tickets are on sale for what promises to be a series of deeply personal and inspiring shows, bringing artists and audiences together in a celebration of music, storytelling, and community.
