Nova Scotia’s Canada Day Celebrations Will Be Online – Halifax’s To Be One Of The Largest In Country

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic this year, the majority of Nova Scotia’s Canada Day celebrations are going to be virtual or non-existent because of gathering limits put in place by the Province.

Halifax will be hosting one of the largest virtual celebrations in the country and you can tune in on YouTube and Eastlink TV.

“People from all over the world can get dressed in red and white and tune in to see how Halifax hosts one of the biggest annual events in the entire country!” said Halifax Civic Events on Facebook.

“Whether you tune in from the living room or with your smartphones by the backyard bonfire, we can’t wait to reveal some of the venues and artists we’ve secured to showcase incredible Canadian stories and music.”

Canada’s national celebration is normally from Ottawa but this year is being hosted in cities right across the country on CBC Television. They will host an afternoon special at 1pm AST and an evening special at 9pm AST. Halifax is going to be featured and we’re promising quite the show.

Our web site, www.nsbuzz.ca will carry the Halifax events on our website.
