The world’s largest floating unicorn will be coming to Halifax after all. The group behind Splashifax is pleased to announce they will be opening Friday July 16.

“When we first announced our goal to operate this summer the support was out of this world. We hit some speed bumps but now we’re ready to go and make a proper splash. We’re excited to be sharing this news with Nova Scotia Buzz and can’t wait for folks to come laugh hard starting on the 16th!,” David Wolpin, Co-founder of Splashifax.

Splashifax has told Nova Scotia Buzz they will be operating in collaboration with Hatfield Farm on Hammonds Plains Road. The farm is privately owned and appropriately zoned for the Splashifax experience.

Wagon rides will take guests to the lake and floating waterpark, so arrive 30 minutes before your session. Guests can buy tickets and book their first experience via the company’s website before arriving. Ticket sales have started on their website. Passes include access to a variety of exciting Hatfield Farm amenities and attractions including, slides, a petting pen and more.

“At Hatfield Farm we work hard to create happy and memorable experiences for both families and adults. Splashifax is doing exactly the same thing and we’re excited to

Hatfield Farm owners Brian and Cherie Hatfield.

Splashifax has obtained the required permissions and permits required to operate. They are actively training staff and hiring certified lifeguards.
