Forget Fireworks, Nova Scotia’s First Ever Drone Light Show Happens This Summer

Digby’s Wharf Rat Rally, one of the most popular motorcycle events in Atlantic Canada, is set to dazzle spectators with the province’s first-ever drone light show on the night of August 31, 2024. Drone light shows are a new alternative to fireworks using LED lights and technology.

The innovative spectacle will feature drones adorned with lights, choreographed to paint the night sky with vibrant patterns, shapes and figures.

The waterfront drone light show is expected to be one of the highlights of the Wharf Rat Rally, an event that draws thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts and families alike from all over.

Every year, Digby is very busy the weekend of the Wharf Rat Rally but anticipate many more people due to the just announced show in the sky. Beyond the light show, the the rally offers the traditional attractions that attendees look forward to, including live music, food vendors, and motorcycle showcases.
