Bluenose II is celebrating 100 years of marine history this year and you can be a part of it when she sails into Halifax Harbour on Monday morning.

There is nothing quite like the site of Nova Scotia’s sailing ambassador who is engraved on Canada’s 10 cent piece sailing past you in person.

You can catch Bluenose II sailing into Halifax Harbour on Monday morning between 11:00AM and 12:00PM. Nova Scotia Buzz and Nova Scotia Webcams will bring you her arrival live from land and water.

She will be anchoring in Bedford Basin between DeWolf Park and Partridge Point. The schooner’s mobile exhibit will be parked in the DeWolf Park Waterfront Drive parking lot. It will be open 12:00-7:00PM on Monday and 12:00PM-6:00PM on Tuesday.

Bluenose II will be lit with dress lights at night in Bedford and sailing around Halifax Harbour on Tuesday weather depending.

Check out this viral video compiled and created by Nicholas Higgs of New Glasgow, NS. He sings Bluenose by Stan Rogers and it’s definitely haunting.
